The association, which has always boasted the valuable artistic direction of Paolo Fresu, has been able to create a network of competent collaborators over the years that have allowed the association to grow, change, transform itself.

However, by diversifying its activities, it has necessarily had to expand that consolidated network and let new ideas and a new workforce mingle with the existing collaborations to create a heterogeneous and renewed working group, set up ad hoc for the Production Centre. A challenge, that of setting up the Production Centre, which the Association wished to tackle with enthusiasm.

Insulae Lab – Production Centre for Jazz Music and Artistic Creativity of the Mediterranean Islands is the brainchild of Paolo Fresu, President of the Association and Artistic Director of Insulae Lab.
