INSULAE LAB
INSULAE LAB IS THE FIRST CENTRE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF JAZZ MUSIC
AND ARTISTIC CREATIVITY IN THE MEDITERRANEAN ISLANDS.
Conceived, created and strongly supported by the Time in Jazz Association, under the artistic direction of Paolo Fresu, it is an ongoing cultural and artistic workshop that also involves other Mediterranean islands to promote the exchange and circulation of artists and ideas.
Insulae Lab promotes joint projects and co-productions, offers creative residencies, encourages new talent, promotes multidisciplinarity and enhances the experiences, traditions and cultural identities of the various island communities that are networked together.

BERCHIDDA
Berchidda is at the center of a territory where peoples and events have left deep traces since the most remote times.
Perched on the first granite buttresses of Limbara in the historical region of Logudoro in Sardinia, Berchidda is located in the center of a territory rich from a naturalistic point of view, with numerous archaeological sites, museums and important Sardinian agri-food producers.
City of wine: the inscription stands out on a sign at the entrance to the town However, since Berchidda has an important musical history, which has its roots in a remote time, it is somehow also the “City of Music”.
